Book One, Circle of Grace,
begins in the past, when three gifted sisters live through a
night of terror and heartbreak. Each of them make a fateful
decision that ends in tragedy…and a curse that causes a
massive ship to burn for centuries on the midnight waters of
the Atlantic. In the present, Catherine Gallagher is content
with her life on a mystical Maritime island, until she is
thrown into a nightmare world of reincarnation by a
not-so-mortal being, who calmly informs her she’s lived
before, and is now expected to risk her life to avenge the
spirit of the doomed girl she once was! Added to the mix are
two friends who must be dragged, kicking and screaming, into
the fray, a sexy love interest, and a very human stalker,
possessed by the past, who is bent on destroying her…
Book Two, Circle of Hope,
is Rory’s story. Rory Cameron’s healing gift has made her
part of a unique circle of friends, and now she must do her
part to help lift a centuries-old curse. She has found
sanctuary on beautiful Prince Edward Island, and now must
have the courage to defeat an age-old enemy, face her past,
and accept new-found joy with Brandon Gallagher, who has
loved her since he first laid eyes on her. Hope comes to
Rory in the form of a child. When four-year-old Hope Connors
arrives on the island with her fragile mother, Rory knows
she will do anything to protect the gifted little girl from
harm…even if it means her own life. Can Brandon’s love and
the protection of her circle keep her safe from a deadly
enemy? Or will she sacrifice all to keep the people she
loves safe from the entity who would destroy them all?
When she’s not writing, Jan loves reading, cooking, puttering in
her garden and hanging out with her beloved family and friends,
not the least of which is her best pal Sunny, a Terri-Poo who
believes she is a Greyhound.

Reviews:
Ms King keeps the pace
going and manages to successfully incorporate all the
necessary information without making the tale cumbersome and
unwieldy. Through an interesting plot line and a collection
of lively, well drawn characters she captures the reader.
Be prepared- if you read
this you’ll want to read the stories of the other two
sisters too.
Although she builds
strong suspense with a touch of spookiness she counteracts
it with a very light dusting of humour. Add a strong
plotline that has elements of magic, healing, good old
fashioned evil, karma and of course love; chuck in sparky
natural dialogue and you have the elements of a spellbinding
book.
Circle Of Grace is an exciting story that weaves the
tragedy of the past into the lives of three current day
women. It’s a story with love and loss, mystery and magic,
vengeance and retribution. Every character has a story and
is woven into the tale with artistry. I felt like I really
knew them and wanted it to go on and on. Fortunately, it’s a
trilogy and I am very much looking forward to the upcoming
books.
This is a beautifully
written story that captures the imagination and heart of the
reader. Jan King’s characters come alive with each word and
they feel as if you have known them forever. I love
paranormal books and this is one that is definitely going on
my keeper list. The author blends all of the pieces of the
storyline together seamlessly, but still leaves you wanting
more. I can’t wait for the next book in her trilogy. This
book show us what happens when the bonds of love and
friendship are put to the test by destiny and things out of
control of human hands. I really liked this book and
recommend it to anyone.
